- Note: This Ward's model 81, rimfire rifle was manufactured for Ward's by Savage and was called a model 29. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. Bluing has turned a plum brown with bluing loss on the high points and magazine tube. A very solid little takedown rifle that competed with the Remington model 12 and Winchester model 61.
