Gun remains nearly 100%, handsome, and a ready partner for long days behind dogs. Dark European walnut stock, straight grip, 14 1/2" over unscathed Merkel buttplate, and 2-piece forearm. 28" barrels retain all factory blue, and have a solid rib. Deep, Merkel style engraving, includes pheasant on sides, and scroll work on bottom. Double triggers under engraved trigger guard, with long tang engraved as well. At just 6 lbs 12 oz, this is an all-day bird gun.
