For a quick sale is this 1st Generation Colt Woodsman Match Target Bullseye .22 LR pistol. This gun was manufactured in 1941 and was a limited run of production that year. The bore is in excellent condition. The slide and action cycle beautifully. There is thinning of bluing on an area on the left side of the barrel and it has a brushed feel to the touch on that area. The blueing is approximately 92%+ overall with good to excellent finish throughout. Magazine says “COLT WOODSMAN CAL 22 LR.” The magazine has a blue brown patina throughout. Stevens Rear Sight. Wood grips with sharp checkering. Barrel length is 6 ½”. This is a very classic gun overall and would make for a great shooter. The Match Target 1st Generation Woodsman is renowned for its accuracy.
