Description:
Starr Arms Co. S.A. 1863 Army Revolver. .44 cal. Sn 49023 on frame, and cylinder, TG 49020, most likely an assembly error. 8" bbl. Starr's Patent Jan 15, 1856 on right side of frame. Left side has Starr Arms Co. , New York. No blue remaining, some case on loading lever and hammer. VG grips with 3 notches on left side and no inspector markings. Overall frame, bbl and cylinder are lightly pitted. Bore is shiney with clear rifling. All parts original and mechanically correct except the bolt will not retract, and associated spring/screw may be replacements. $750/OBO plus shipping. Will combine this revolver with my lisiting #7, Starr DA Rev., for package deal.
