Savage model 99 solid-frame lever-action rifle in 300 Savage caliber. S/N 3963XX; 1940 era. Matching number on stock. Has features of both 99K and 99EG models. Round 24" barrel, standard grade checkered walnut stock, pistol grip, Schnabel foreend tip, steel buttplate, sling swivels, cocking indicator on top of receiver, plain polished bolt, safety on lever, lightly engraved receiver, open rear sight, Lyman (1A?) folding peep sight, white metal bead on ramp front sight, receiver top drilled and tapped. 97% condition overall; excellent bore. Right side of stock has 1.2" round (brass?) medallion with a rising duck. &895 plus $50 shipping/insurance. Certified funds or credit cards; add 3% for CC's.
