SN 25624. .50 cal, 3 groove rifling, 20" bbl.7 shot repeater with Stabler cut-off. Wood is in pretty good shape with evidence that a decorative wrap was once on the aft portion of the stock, however it looks like soneone "chopped" away the front edge of the stock comb??? Also fore end on left side where it meets the receiver has a crack 1.5" long which ends in a dent. Bore is dark and pitted heavily, but grooves remain sharp. Metal is a nice blue/brown patina, but has scattered pitting on lock and receiver, and heavy pitting on butt plate and forward part of muzzle. Mechanically perfect except it is possible loading tube may be a Spencer/Burnside replacement because the buttplate is quite pitted yet the "tube" release lever retains case color?
