Description:
Perazzi MX 2005 trap gun with no more than 6000 rounds having been fired through it, therefore just about run in.
The gun was bought as a 30.5 inch standard with multi choke bottom barrel/fixed full top barrel, but has since been improved with three modifications as follows:
- Top barrel has been machined out to take Briley Thinwall chokes and is therefore now a full multi-choke. Two Briley chokes are supplied with the full set of Perazzi chokes for the bottom barrel.
- The standard trigger has been replaced with the optional set back Perazzi trigger, bringing it much further back towards the trigger guard. This is much more ergonomic (in my opinion) and improves the feel of the grip if you have short fingers. The LOP with this trigger is 14.5 inches. The original is also retained and can be switched over in 30-45 minutes. LOP with the original trigger is 15 inches.
- A Bisley fully adjustable recoil pad is fitted. The standard Perazzi unit is too flat and does not aid mounting the gun consistently in the same position every time. The pronounced curve of the Bisley pad overcomes this, whilst also extending the range of adjustment on the stock.
As can be seen in the photos the gun has a very nicely figured stock with the action being finishes in Nickel. The gun comes with its very sturdy Perazzi case, including all the original tools and documentation.
Current price of this gun here in France is approx. 11,000 euros.
