Description:
********Rifle is Sold Pending Funds*********** Very nice early BRNO manufactured K98 marked DOT 1943 on receiver. Rifle is a bolt mis-match "plus", the bolt body is number matching to the rifle, the shroud, cocking piece and safety are unnumbered armourers parts and the firing pin is not number matching. Remainder of the rifle is all matching and includes a L&F marked sling. BRNO started K98 production in 1943 and this "a" block is very early. Some interesting features including the letter suffix being added on the rear sight and inside stock. On the keel of the stock and the top of the handguard "DOT" stamp is visible. Bore is very strong with no pitting. A very nice entry level K98 with one of the less common late war receiver codes.
Rifle includes normal 3 day non-firing inspection. Shipping is $40 for lower 48, Alaska/Hawaii at cost. No international shipping on this rifle.
