DWM manufactured GEW 1898 with 1901 dated receiver. Rifle is all matching minus the bolt which is Imperial as well and matching to iteslf. Very nice looking rifle that went through a depot re-work in the 1930's for use in the German army. These early rifles are tough to find, bore is very good and the stock has the depot stamps from when the rear sight and rear barrel band were replaced. All original and an interesting variation in the history of the 98.
Rifle includes normal 3 day non-firing inspection. Shipping is $45 for lower 48, Alaska/Hawaii at cost. No international shipping on this rifle.
