On Tang: MODEL 1894 -WINCHESTER- TRADE MARK REG U.S.PAT. OFF. & FGN. Serial number on underside. Number 69 in front of trigger.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are smooth and nicely finished wood. There are a very few marks and scratches scattered throughout. The forearm is in very good condition. The wood looks well preserved and appropriately aged. The LOP measures 13” to the crescent butt plate. The stocks rate in about VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT overall condition.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The barrel is nearly perfect with one very small blimish near front left of barrel. The magazine hanger shows a scratch near front. this is a very sharp rifle. The Screw heads are sharp, showing only a few turnings. The markings are very crisp. Overall Very Good to Excellent condition.
