Sold pending funds / Smith & Wesson Victory Model Revolver, serial # V 926014, cal. 38 Special, 4" barrel with a very good bore that shows some pitting near throat. The metal surfaces retain 70% original black matted finish with a turn line on cylinder, scattered fading and silvering on back and front straps. The case hardened trigger and hammer show light thinning of colors and operational wear. The smooth walnut grips rate very good with handling marks, and light dings. The grips are the correct type but are numbered to a different gun, while the remaining parts are matching. The top strap is stamped US PROPERTY. Overall a good example of a desirable World War II revolver in good - good plus condition. Inv.: # 1-1305
