Description:
Very clean Eddystone with a good bore,strong rifling and some roughness in the grooves from corrosive wartime primers. The action very smooth, and medal is mostly blue, barrel has a flaming bomb and date of 8/18. The American walnut stock very good,with minor wartime dings, and scrapes, nothing serious. The metal finish is excellent and all blue , one of the cleanest Eddystones I've had, and the stock has an oil hand rubbed finish. Overall a clean gun that's not been abused.SN1038482. The bolt is numbered to another earlier gun. Early production had matching bolt numbers and later guns just had an E stamped on the bolt from my experience. The stock is stamped E at the muzzle under the barrel. This fine gun has an importer marking. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
