Scarce Stevens Model 240 made by Savage in Chicopee Falls, MA. Over & Under 3 Inch 410 with Double Exposed Hammers. Quality Walnut Stock with Lovely Checkering Pattern (See Photos). Case Colored Receiver is showing Patina with traces of Color Left. Barrels retain 80% Original Blue with Trigger Guard showing 65% Original Finish.
26" Bores are Excellent. This is a much higher quality gun than the Savage Model 242 which was built in the same factory. Little touches like the above average checkering, higher quality wood, Ivory Bead and wood to metal fit far surpass the Savage. A very hard to find 410 O&U in any condition. FFL or C&R Required.
