Good working .50 cal Thompson Center Hawken rifle, with a 29" heavy octagonal barrel, and an good bore, strong rifling, and recent surface frost and corrosion, not deep pits. Will spin a bullet well.. Case hardened lock works good, and has a brass tipped wood color fiberglass ram-rod.This model has a fancy brass patch-box and set triggers.The rear sights are not present,and has a top tang installed Lyman peep sight, with one screw a slotted and the other a phillips head,The walnut stock looks new with no issues other mild filed wear. Nipple looks very good! The barrel blue is about 96% with a few specks from storage. Good shootin' black powder rifle. T.C. doesn't make walnut wood stocked Hawkens any more, not like this.
