Here we have a VERY RARE PARKER VHE 12 GAUGE GUN. How can a VHE be rare? The answer is the configuration. Ordered FROM THE FACTORY with a rare ventilated rib (only 201 VHE 12ga. w/vr), rare beavertail forearm (163 VHE 12's w/factory beavertails), only 4543 with 32" barrels, and damn few with English style stock. Even better, it is a live bird gun with no safety. This Parker, sn230918 built in 1929, was ordered as a serious trap or live bird gun with the above features. There is no factory letter for this gun, but I am very educated on Parker factory features and there is no disputing these are all factory features. Any Parker expert would concur with my conclusion. This gun is such a special Parker that the previous owner had begun the process to upgrade this gun to an AAHE live bird gun. It has been expertly restocked with gorgeous, highly figured European walnut, perfect AAHE style checkering with flor-de-lis drop points, Monte Carlo style butt stock, perfect wood to metal fit, with matching AAHE checkered beavertail forend. Look the photos over closely; the reinforced forend lug, the Parker action with the raised flat section that only is found on vent rib guns, the original engraving where the safety should be...this is all factory. The only thing not factory besides the new wood is a Perazzi single trigger installed at great expense ($2500!). If you don't know, the Perazzi single trigger is the most reliable on the planet. You can buy this gun as it is, ready to shoot serious competitions, or you can have the AAHE engraving added to the barrels and action and have a fine Parker upgrade worth over $25,000. The engraving can be done at anytime and we work with a master engraver that can do the work to historical Parker perfection. To have it upgraded would be fantastic. They only made 185 AAHE 12 bores, and only 1 with vent rib or beavertail forend. You will never find an original AAHE with these features. Engraving and finishing can be done for less than $9000 to Parker perfection. You have choices on this one, but she is ready to go as is for a very affordable price.
