Description:
Early Arisaka model type 99 with a 25 1/2" barrel, and no mum. Stocks are good with typical dents, and scrapes from field usage,possibly coated with shellac common for Japanese weapons! Barreled receiver are blue with finish flaking, and fading, and the stocks medal parts all have a brown color with surface corrosion, and would clean up better. Tokyo arsenal marked with a SN 20448. Bore is good with good rifling, and again very fine pits down in the grooves, chambered for the 7.7mm Would spin a bullet real good. And this fine gun has the rear sight with aircraft sighting ears , usually removed and tossed out. Comes with a cleaning rod.
