Description:
A good working vintage Savage model 340 bolt action chambered for the .30-06 cal. The 22" barrel has a very good, clean, shiny rifled bore, and the metal is about 96%. Has factory drilled and tapped holes for a top mount scope, and side mount peep sight. American New England stock is very good, and a grain line in front of the lower mag plate.This is an internal mag model. Has a black hard rubber butt-pad. LOP is 14". A handy light weight brush gun. Has a front ramp sight, and rear buck-horn adjustable sight. Side of the frame is stamped REVELATION MODEL 2500 and this is a contract gun made by Savage.
