Description:
This is a very nice example of the Smith and Wesson Model No. 2 "Old Model" Army. Chambered in .32 Long caliber. has a 6 inch barrel with a good but dark bore. This gun is in overall 98% condition. The action is crisp and the markings are sharp. The Ivory grips are beautiful with no cracks or chips. Serial Number 5542, manufactured in 1862, right in the middle of the Civil War. This No 2 Smith & Wesson Army saw very little use and would be very difficult to improve upon.
