Here is your chance to own this gem for an incredible price. For sale is this outstanding Gebruder Merkel Suhl 303EL 12 gauge (2 3/4-inch) shotgun with 28” barrels. “W. Glaser - Waffen, Zurich”. The gun features a ventilated rib and with front and mid-rib beads. Very ornate coin finished deep relief game scenes and scroll engravings on the receiver and throughout. Scene of Eagle chasing Partridge, and a rabbit running on right side. Scene of a Hunting Dog flushing out Pheasants on the left side. Kersten cross-bolt. Automatic ejectors. Selector switch. Finely checkered and beautifully figured walnut pistol-grip stock with ebony grip cap. Scroll engraved brass escutcheon to base of stock with the initials: R.L.C. Finely checkered 3-piece, 4-screw target fore-end. Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Chokes Are: 0.027/0.033 (Modified/Full). LOP: 14”. Overall Length: 44 ½”. Weight: 7 lbs. 2 oz. This shotgun is in excellent to mint overall condition (99%+ Overall). The stock is nearly perfect with a very few handling marks. The bore is excellent and bright.
