For sale is a very nice Custom .416 Taylor Caliber Rifle Built on a Mauser 98 Action. This rifle features a pristine 24” match grade barrel made by Carl (C.) Wilson of Tigard, OR (1992), hooded front sight with flip up moon sight, and express 3-leaf rear sight. Blued finish. The LOP: 13 ¼” to end of the pad. The Overall Length: 44 ½”. Beautiful scroll engravings on each end of the barrel, on the rear sight, and on the barrel band. Scroll engraved metal grip cap on the pistol grip. Floor-plate is also with scroll engravings and features a light Cape Buffalo engraving. Beautiful Bastogne walnut stock with ebony tipped fore-end. Screws are also engraved throughout. The bolt knob is checkered. Black Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Comes with Leupold VARI-X III 1.5-5X Telescopic Scope, mounts, and rings. The gun weighs 9 lbs, 10 oz. This rifle is in overall excellent condition. 98% overall condition. The stock shows light handlings marks throughout. The checkering is sharp. The action is crisp, the bore is excellent, and the scope optic is crystal clear. Scope has some scuffing present. *Upon this sale, the gun will only be shipped to a FFL dealer.
