Description:
Parker INVINCIBLE 12 GAUGE SxS
PACHMAYR UPGRADE, 11 GOLD INLAYS

General Specs: Parker, Year 1906, 12 Gauge, 7lbs 15oz, Side-by-Side
Serial Number: 134597

We have acquired several highly customized guns built and upgraded by the Pachmayr Custom Gun Works out of Los Angeles California before they closed in the 1980's.  These guns (this Parker Invincible and a Winchester M21) were donated by Frank and Nanitta Pachmayr to the Ducks Unlimited (M21) and the Cody Firearms Museum (Parker) as a fundraising tool.  Frank Pachmayr was a world famous gunsmith accredited with building fine rifles, shotguns, and pistols for the Hollywood elite, business moguls, and even President Ronald Regan.  The workmanship was always ornate and well done, and this Parker Invincible is no exception.  The Invincible was Parkers most ornate, flagship model, with only 3 known to exist.  With 11 large gold animal inlays, extensive gold scroll wire inlays, triple beaded fences, sideclips, rebated frame, jeweled barrel flats and water table, fine English scroll, ornate barrel wedges at the breech and muzzle, gorgeous wood with flor-de-lis fancy checkering, the gun is a work of art in the gunmaker's world.  Pachmayr stock makers were amongst the best, and the 28 LPI checkering on this gun is exemplary.  Scenes of a Labrador Retriever, ducks, and pheasants adorn the gun in heavy gold and engraved by master engraver Gino Cargnel of Browning Superposed fame.  The gun has not been carried afield from the looks of her, as there are only a few light handling marks in the wood and no wear on the metal.  The mechanics are crisp and function as you would expect for such a fine shotgun and a famous gunsmith shop.  Cased in a leather case, it is a gun that is begging to be shot and shown around to your shooting friends.  Pachmayr is a recognized name and this is a fine, investment grade shotgun that will increase in value as you enjoy its use.  Thanks for looking!
