Description:
Large Gambling Hall, turn table Poker Chip Rack. The chips are Victorian era clay chips. Housed in a massive solid walnut rack with slots for four decks of cards. The set has a walnut covered with an opening for the handle to pass through. The round case is 13 inches in diameter, by about 7 1/4 inches tall including the carry handle. There are 16 stacks of chips, each with about 25 chips a total of about 400 chips. 100 chips in each color: red, blue, yellow and white. The chips are 1.5 in. in diameter with no markings. They are not chipped or cracked. Fully loaded this set weighs about 17 lbs It is a wonderful large saloon type set. On the rim of the base there is a chip that does detract a little, but to find such a big set is very unusual. I have included 2 sets of old time reproduction cards.
