CIVIL WAR ERA COLT MODEL 1849 LARGE GUARD .31 CAL. POCKET REVOLVER MFG. 1861. Six shot with 4” barrel having the one line “ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW-YORK, U.S.A. AMERICA” address. Excellent 90% “STAGECOACH HOLDUP” cylinder scene. All matching in the 190,xxx range and original except the wedge screw which is a modern correct replacement. Crisp markings and all correct. Excellent plus with traces of blue in the recesses but mostly a grey patina. Lever with some case colors. Fine grips with the original finish. Fine bore and chambers. Good working order except half cock which needs repair. Cocks perfectly and cylinder lines up nicely.
