Description:
Very good vintage Savage model 99 in .300 caliber, with a 24" barrel, and a clean crisp bore.SN 656423. Bluing is about 85%, with some surface freckling,and wear to frame from being carried. This gun has no rear sight, but has a cocking indicator, and a brass rotary internal mag.American walnut deep checkered stocks are very good, with minor handling marks from field use.The black hard rubber factory installed butt-plate is very good. Factory drilled, and tapped for a scope on the top rail with a Bushnell Wideangle 4X38 scope with clear optics. The Bushnell scope has missing adjusting screws caps, which can be gotten easily. Action is very good and this would make a good hunting gun. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
