FINE CONDITION UNALTERED AND UNMESSED WITH 1896 KRAG RIFLE, #102XXX, MADE 1898 WITH GOOD 1898 DATED CARTOUCHE, much more difficult to find than the more common Model 1898 which was made for a longer period of time, a really nice example with good lightly aged barrel blue, correct M-1896 rifle sight, fine solid original wood that shows only light/normal handling and storage marks/dings, attractive reddish/brown Springfield walnut finish, nice 1898 dated stock cartouche along with the circle P cartouche in the bottom of the stock, mottled gray/brown receiver with nice blue on ejector, bore only a little dark with sharp rifling and will clean excellent, correct swivels intact, a really nice antique Krag with all the correct cartouches and a great bore.
