A very solid 1944 British battle rifle. Manufactured by the Royal Ordinance Factory at Maltby, England. The rifle is a caliber .303 Mk4 No1 Lee Enfield. The blue is approx. 90% intact. The woodstock has many small scratches and dings from many years of anonymous use. There is a small repair to the stock adjacent to the top of tbhe brass but plate, which I am assuming is a arsenal repair. The bore appears to be free from rust and pitting.
