Flintlock Rifle 45 cal – C. Nolan – With Many Accessories
This beautiful .45 caliber Flintlock Rifle was custom made by a well-known gun maker. This gun was made and signed on the barrel in 1976. It is number 12 made by gun maker C. Nolan. Other guns may have been made but I do not know the exact number. You will find the previous owner’s name on the rifle. This may be removed but I let it remain. The wood stock is home made of curly maple. An eagle is part of the stock engraving. A running buck deer is engraved on the patch box. The overall length of the rifle is 58 inches. The barrel itself is 42 inches. It is a Douglas Barrel 13/16 across the flats. The twist is 1 - 66. It is Not a swamped barrel. The gun is in excellent condition. I have taken up archery bow hunting exclusively and it is time to get this in the hands of someone who would take good care and really enjoy it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this gun. The accuracy of this rifle is outstanding. I have used Triple Seven 3 F – 70 grains and it shoots a tight pattern.
Included in this purchase: A handmade suede Possibles Bag, a beautiful, engraved for the owner, powder horn, and small priming horn, signed patch and ball starter, round balls, patches, flints, loading block and pan charging tool. You will only need a powder measure and the powders for the barrel and the pan. These items will be shipped in a second box along with the rifle. UPS tracking numbers will be included in an email to the buyer.
