For sale is this very rare and collectable Winchester Model 70 XTR Sporter Magnum Alaskan 25th Anniversary .338 Win. Mag. Bolt action rifle. Barrel Length: 24”. LOP: 13.5”. Overall Length: 44 ½”. The barrel features a hooded front sight and micrometer adjusting folding rear sight. Blued finish. Jeweled bolt. The right side of barrel is marked: Alaskan 25th Anniversary. The floor-plate is etched with an Alaskan Grizzly Bear and states, “ALASKAN STATEHOOD 1959-1984”. The receiver is scroll etched. The stock is a checkered walnut pistol-grip stock with sling eyes, a metal grip cap, and a cheek-piece. Factory Winchester rubber recoil pad. The gun is in overall excellent condition. The action is crisp. The bore is excellent. There is a little indentation on the bottom of the stock by the spacer and pad and a few handling markings on the stock. The checkering is sharp. This gun is in overall 98%+ condition.*Upon this sale, the gun will only be shipped to a FFL dealer.
