#35AZM09305, A Winchester Post-64 375 H&H Model 70 Safari Express Custom by Jeff Tapp in Austin, Texas, He is a member of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild, The entire barreled action including the bottom metal is Model 70 Safari Express, Claw extractor, 24" barrel, NECG island adjustable rear sight, Barrel band swivel, Front ramp with a sight protector, 3 position Model 70 wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Scope bases with Quick Detachable Lever release 30mm rings, A nice custom stock by Jeff Tapp, Very nice English Walnut with excellent color & contrast, Double cross bolts, Complete wrap around point pattern checkering with a very nice carved border, Ebony forend tip, Jerry Fisher steel grip cap, Shadow line cheekpiece, Two screw sling eye on the stock, 13 7/8" LOP over a 7/8" Silvers pad, 9 lbs. 14 oz., The bore is new, The overall condition on both metal and wood is 98% since built as a custom. I can assure you this was not Jeff Tapp's first attempt at custom stocking a bolt rifle. It has nice workmanship along with the classic lines of what an American classic styled bolt rifle is all about.
