Description:
Presenting a Winchester Model 1892 in caliber 38-40. The serial number on the firearm is 72669 which shows a date of manufactuer of 1894. The wood has darkened with age and handling, and has various scratch's and dents from it's past history.The metal has turned from the bluing, to a dark brown tint and fade. The action on this firearm is crisp, and functions very good for it's age. There is no loose feeling to the action while in operation. The bore is rated as fair, but would not be accurate if fired. The barrel is a 24 inch octagon barrel, with a buckhorn style sight on the barrel.
