The nicest FN '49 we have ever had. An early Venezuelan Contract 7x57 caliber rifle with 100% of all finish, perfect mint bore, etc. Beautiful walnut stock has perfect finish with the correct cartouche - all matching numbers, etc. For those who are interested this was the most expensive battle rifle to produce of all time as everything is machined from forgings or bar stock. It won acclaim during the 1950's but It could not complete with cheaper guns made of metal stampings so it went by the wayside, but most consider it the best of the best. If this becomes part of your collection you will never have to upgrade! This specimen is perfect.
