A scarce tangent sight beauty in every respect, and a complete rig at that.
The gun is a realistic 90-95% original factory finish. The loss is the usual muzzle and sharp edge silvering, primarily from holster wear. The grips straps have toned slightly with a small patch of silvering from the holster.
All numbers match.
The slide is stamped eagle/ waa140, eagle/swastika. The frame, stamped likewise. The left trigger guard is stamped "MR" and the walnut grip panels are super. No chips, or splits. There are also no flattened points. The bore is super. The rifling is scalpel sharp and sunshine bright without any graying.
This gun has seen very little use, if any at all.
Included with the gun is a correct Nazi p.640b holster marked, eagle/swastika/waa 195, dla (Karl Barth, Militaereffekten-Fabrik Waldbrol/ Rhineland), 44.
It is in great shape showing little wear, with all the stitching intact. Plus, two correct "split tail" magazines.
This rig has condition, and scarcity. A real prize for the critical collector.......$3995.
