Description:
A color full Civil War rifle made by Potts & Hunt, a contractor making Enfield rifles . The strong rifled bore, with recent surface corrosion will shoot well, on the 31" length. The exterior metal overall has light pin-point pitting from 150 years of storage. The rear sight once soldered to the barrel is not present , neither is the front sight. The English walnut stock is good with shallow field scrapes and dings. Comes with a barrel band , brass butt-plate,brass trigger guard all mellow color, iron rod for a ram-rod, and a good working lock. Most likely a Confederate rifle picked up after battle and used a hunter rifle!To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
