Description:
Parker Bros.DHE 12ga. trap double.Built in 1906, according to the factory letter, this gun has 30" barrels choked full (.040") and full (.040").The barrels have excellent bores free of any dents, rust,or pits. The barrels are tight and on face with no looseness or play.Other features include a pistol grip stock, double triggers, ejectors,a splinter forend, and a NoShoc pad.The gun letters with a gold grip cap.The cap is engraved "Wm J Snyder from Dad Winfield Pa".A great gift! The gun is built on a #2 frame and weighs 7-12.It is set up for trap or live pigeons with stock dimensions of 143/8" x 112" x 2".The wood is highly figured dark American walnut. The stock has been expertly repaired with a plug in the sidepanels. It is very solid now with no cracks or damage. The action retains traces of the original case colors and the barrels retain 90% of the original blue. This would make an excellent trap or pigeon gun,a fine driven pheasant gun, or could be used for vintager clays tournaments. It is a great turkey gun as well.I killed two gobblers with it this spring.A Parker you can put in the collection and still enjoy in the field.C&R eliglble.
