End of production, late in the war Arisaka model type 99 with a 25 1/2" barrel,with a very good bore, strong rifling and some mild roughness in the grooves and has a good full mum. Stocks are good with typical dents, and scrapes from field usage, and appear to have been refinished years ago! Barreled receiver are full blue, about 96%, with strong finish that looks original.The middle band has a U.S screw that can be replaced. Tokyo arsenal marked, with a SN 98861, and the bolt is marked 881. Most of the late gun were shipped to the Navy for on board use. The butt-plate is late war wood shaped to the butt-stock.Overall would make a good shooter. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
