Description:
Roman Soldier clock topper. Made of metal and I believe filled with plaster. The soldier is very detailed and decorated. He has a robe off his shoulder on the back and a breast plate on the front. In his hand he carries his symbol of rank. He measures 10 3/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide at the widest and weighs 4 lbs. He is painted with a gold gilt and is in good condition, with no cracks or chips. It was made between 1870 and 1900. Like any antique condition is the important factor. Most of these seem to have missing pieces, cracks and have been repainted this is one of those in that it has been repainted, but is still complete and stable. This is guaranteed old, genuine and original.
