Description:
This Belgium made Flobert rifle has a muzzle measuring .32 cal and was made as a smooth bore. Looks like a center fire, not sure what caliber of .32. Will try some shells I have. These were used for trick shooting and for bird shot. The French walnut stock has darkened and it has tiger grain at the wrist. Commonly there is an age/grain split on the left side of the stock where it is thinned and at the back of the breech. These guns had a fancy trigger guard, crescent butt-plate. the metal is a soft brown color, through-out , and the 23 1/2" octagonal barrel has a very clean smooth bore with one very small patch of recent corrosion.
