#874, A Jules Bury Belgium Made Pre-War 12 Bore Sidelock That Remains New & Unfired and was Finished in Belgium from In-The-White in 1967, Made by Britte pre-war and is marked "eB" for Etabblissements Britte and then finished by the Bury firm and marked accordingly, 27 1/2" Ejector Dovetail Lump Siemens Martin steel barrels at .720 .017 & .029" (Open Mod. & Imp.Mod.), 2 3/4" chambers, 1.292 KG weight barrels, Hidden third bite, Bushed strikers, Double triggers with the front articulated, Splinter forend, Full coverage point pattern checkering, Straight hand stock at 14 3/4 x 1 3/8 x 2 1/4" over a checkered butt, 6 lbs. 12 oz., Very nice wood, 85% coverage of game scene engraving by Charles Servais and signed Ch. Servais, Mr. Servais was a FN/Browning Arms engraver, The scenes are virtually identical to the Browning Pointer grade, Cased in a very nice leather trunk with a canvas cover that remains new as well, The gun remains unfired and has never been hunted, It came to the U.S. via Mr. Luc Vander Borght of Francotte. The gun is a pre-war piece that was finished and proved in Belgium in 1967 and remains unfired to this day.
