Original pre-64 Win 70 in 375 H&H with rare 25" barrel, custom stocked and engraved by master craftsmen, scoped with a period Valor 4x32 tapered reticle scope in a side mount, the floorplate heavily engraved with a bull elephant in aggressive pose in a field of expertly cut scroll. The stock boasts an ivory forend tip and grip cap, together with ebony and ivory inlays on each side; extensively carved panels and a full body rendition of a rampant bull elephant on the offside of the butt. The sights comprise a receiver sight mounted so as to allow use with or without the scope in place, and the original hooded front. The customer for whom it was made was not only willing to pay for top notch work, but took his riflemanship seriously, evidenced by trajectory data taped to the stock.
