For sale, a beautiful Marlin "Original Golden 39A" .22 rimfire lever action rifle in excellent condition. According to the serial number 20289784, this rifle was made in 1980. It appears to have been used very little prior to it being put in storage in the late 1980's. The original Marlin factory blue finish rates 97% with the only deductions coming from a few very small handling marks/nicks which I have pictured. The namesake original gold colored trigger retains 95% of it's gold finish. The American Walnut stock set is also in excellent condition. There are no cracks, gouges, or repairs to the wood, only some very small handling marks visible under close inspection. The "Micro Groove" rifling on this rifle is perfect. The bore is bright and clean with no pitting and could actually pass as unfired it is so clean. This Original Golden 39A is 100% functional and everything is nice and tight. The action feels really tight and crisp just like new. The internals all look like-new with no built up powder or lead residue, or signs of wear. If you have been looking for a really nice vintage Marlin Original Golden 39A to add to your collection as an investment or a high conditioned shooter, this is it!!
