- Note: This LC Smith Ideal Grade 16ga shotgun has crossed the years since 1915 (when it was built) in excellent condition. Barrels retain 95% of original finish. Case colors on side plates are still strong with fading edges and wear at the carry point. Bores are bright. It appears that the buttstock has been refinished at some point and a new Hawkins recoil pad has been installed. The LOP is 14" over the new Hawkins pad. Bores are choked full and full. The left side plate screw has been damaged slightly due to incorrect tool use. The engraving on the side panels is strong and sharp. Barrels are tight on face. Gun is ready for an upland game hunt!
