RUGER #1B The #1 is Rugers premium rifle.
The #1 uses a single shot Farquharson-style concealed hammer falling block high strength action. This polished deep blue sculptured receiver features a tang mounted shotgun style safety, an ejector which can be set as an extractor only and is 4 inches shorter than a comparable bolt action, which makes for a very nimble, quick handling rifle with a great feel like a fine shotgun.
The satin finished American walnut stock is hand fitted and hand checkered in a borderless pattern. The forend is flat bottom semi beavertail. The barrel is medium weight 26" quarter rib with integral scope base for Ruger rings.
