Magnificent, by God, magnificent. The gun has one infinitesimal nick and two short hairline scratches and that's it. No edge silvering, no muzzle wear, pits or dings.
This gun has sat in a gun safe for the last 70 years until 2016 when the estate sold it to us. The gun is minty throughout. This includes all the steel parts and all the furniture.
A Williams fully adjustable peep sight has been was installed. The rear leaf has been replaced with a filler block if desired, the missing leaf sight is easily replaced.
The bore, like the rest of the gun, is pristine. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a hint of frosting anywhere.
