Description:
Early Anson & Deeley action 10 ga non-ejector gun with good 30"x 2 3/4" laminated steel barrels measuring R 798/782, L 795/786 (original proofs at 11b 12m, min wall R 045 L 043). Very light scattered pitting in bores. Barrels have been freshly browned and hot waxed. Action is tight w. 50% coverage of English scroll. Unusual safety hardware and forend contour .. WR style. "Cigarette" cocking levers. Some light pitting on balls of action only. Highly figured stock has on older repair to the wrist, recently reglued and pinned longitudinally as well as from under trigger bow (threaded rods invisibly epoxied through wrist and across joint). Wood restored, checkering cleaned. I will warranty this repair for 3 years of normal use. LOP 14" thru orig engraved steel butt plate, subtantial drops 2" & 3.5", offset by neutral cast.
