This Third Model Colt Dragoon .44 black powder revolver was manufactured in 1976 Serial # 30365 one of 2731 made. It is the F series #1740 in the " PERCUSSION COLT REVOLVERS THE SECOND GENERATION" "COLLECTOR'S HANDBOOK & PRICE GUIDE #6" This Dragoon has a 7 1/2 inch barrel with a blade front sight and notched hammer for the rear sight. The cylinder is fully engraved with scenes of Dragoons on horse back engaged in a battle with American Indians and states "MODEL U.S.M.R." "COLT_S PATENT". The frame and hammer shows brilliant case colors with brass back strap and trigger guard. This Dragoon remains in excellent, not fired condition. I do have all the pictured paper work, and box.
This Dragoon remains in excellent, unfired condition, but does show a slight track mark on the cylinder and a bit of red rust in the cylinder stop notches which will clean out. All original paper work, and box are included even the oil paper.
