Description:
This antique .36 caliber bullet mold appears to have been lined ti this smaller caliber. A very unusual thing and the first I have seen like this. These small caliber molds were common in the Easter US from about 1800 on. Larger caliber rifles were not needed as most of the large game had been shot out. These molds were usually furnished with the new rifle by the gunsmith.
