Description:
Moores Patent Firearms Co Brooklyn NY, .32 cal teat fire revolver. This is the Deluxe version with beautiful fully etched barrel, cylinder, and loading gate. Brass frame is engraved. Barrel markings are weak but visible. 1864 patent markings are very clear on the cylinder. The scene on the cylinder centers on a shield surmounted by a bird, the shield covering a pair of crossed cannon, the balance on the cylinder and barrel is an involved floral leaf and scroll pattern. There is no finish on the metal. The finish might have been blue or silver. The frame was almost certainly silver plated, but none remains. The wood grips are original but revarnished. Mechanically it is fine. Serial is 107xx.
