Description:
Rollin White Arms Co. .32 cal single shot pistol, sn 287, 65% original blue on the barrel but looks like more. 98% original silver on frame; traces of blue on single shot chamber. There is a small chip in left grip at the lower grip/frame junction ( see photo). All matching serial numbers including both grips. # 287. Grips have approximately 70% varnish. Excellent bore. Markings are small size and all three lines are sharp.
" ROLLIN WHITE ARMS CO. / LOWELL, MASS. / PATENTED APR. 13, 1858 ". All parts appear original. There is a very small hole in the left side of the frame near the side-plate (see photo). I do not know its purpose. The bore is excellent, and mechanically it is in fully working order.
This is a very fine example of this rare gun.
