-Priced for a very quick sale is this very rare and desirable Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1908 Takedown Carbine in 8x56 Mannlicher-Schoenauer. Finding a 1908 in this configuration is incredibly difficult.
-This rifle has very rare features: Lyman peep sight fixed to the bolt release, 2 flip up feather sights on the barrel, Lyman front sight insert, and a nice 3 round stock compartment in the butt. Stock contains original sling provisions.
-Floorplate has initials “A.R.S” on it.
-The wood grain of the stock on this gun is very nice.
-The checkering is very sharp.
-The gun is mechanically perfect and cycles flawlessly.
-The barrel is in overall excellent condition. The blueing is still fully in tact for 98%+ of the gun.
-The bore is in excellent condition. The rifling is very sharp and crisp with nice grooves and lands.
-Stock shows handling marks and has a few indentations towards the butt plate on the bottom. Stock is in overall 96% condition.
