#16394, A Krieghoff Suhl Made 1932 Over & Under Combination Gun in 16 Bore over 8 x 72R Sauer, All the quality features of typical pre-war Suhl made guns, Built on the trades best 300 series action with double under lugs and double bite with a Kersten cross bolt top lock just like a Merkel 303, 25 1/2" Extractor Krupp steel barrels at .672 .031" (Full), 2 1/2" chamber, Bolstered frame, Solid rib with 1 standing rear sight, Original scope mount bases with very stout custom 1" rings that are detachable, Leupold 1.5 x 5, Top tang cocking safety with a cocking indicator, Barrel selector mounted on the left side of the receiver that has a spring actuated lock, Single set trigger, Sling eyes, Cheekpiece, 3 piece forend, 14" L.O.P. over a horn buttplate, 6 lbs. 4 oz. without the scope & 7 lbs. 3 oz. with, Decent wood, Steel trigger guard, It has 99% coverage of fairly deep relief oak leaf motif engraving, The barrels reblacked at one time but very well done and now remain at 97%, The stock re-oiled but I don't believe sanded and it remains at 95%, The original checkering at 97%, There is 2 very small pieces of wood inset in the forend wood and checkered over, The shotgun bore is excellent plus & the rifle bore is excellent. Ammo is currently available from Buffalo Arms Co. in Ponderay, Idaho with .323" diameter bullets and this piece is .318" so loads would need to be made accordingly. Loading dies are available for this cartridge. A very high quality 1932 Suhl quality gun with the best 300 series action body that could be used in this great Suhl era.
